Listen in! Juhl Artists in Residence Featured on Entercom Las Vegas Public Affairs Show

Creativity lives in the heart of downtown Las Vegas at Juhl Las Vegas. The sixth installment of the Juhl Artist in Residence Program is underway and was recently featured by Entercom Las Vegas Public Affairs Show Host Nudia Hernandez. Hernandez spoke with current Artists in Residence Justin Favela and Lance Smith about the program, their work and the need to support artists and the arts, especially due to the pandemic’s significant impacts.

Favela was also the program’s inaugural featured artist and is known for his large-scale installations and sculptures that represent American pop culture and the Latinx experience. Smith is a multidisciplinary artist, illustrator and teacher who serves as artist manager of the Rogers Art Loft. They are sharing a two-story live/work residence at Juhl with ground-level studio space and a one-bedroom loft on the second floor. The street-level studio serves as a showcase of their work.

Juhl is a 344-residence, loft-style community that spans an entire city block and is known for luxurious living and amenities, flexible floor plans and industrial chic design aesthetic.
