Downtown Las Vegas Welcomes Back Life Is Beautiful: Three Days of Music, Art, and Food

Anticipation is growing as Downtown Las Vegas gets ready to celebrate the “beauty of life” and welcome thousands of concert-goers, art lovers, and foodies to Life Is Beautiful – the legendary three-day multi-genre music and arts festival – September 22-24, 2023.

Music

Now in its tenth year, Life Is Beautiful 2023 once again brings a multitude of incredible experiences including musical headliners Kendrick Lamar, The Killers, Odesza and Flume plus many festival newcomers such as Khalid, The 1975, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Omar Apollo, Kim Petras, and many more. Along with musical offerings, the festival will feature performances by Las Vegas Strip favorites, including Cirque du Soleil, Blue Man Group, Jabbawockeez, Magic Mike Live, Piff The Magic Dragon and Tape Face. Art

And, of course, there will be a slew of highly anticipated new mesmerizing murals and art installations from local, national and global artists adorning downtown buildings and streets and adding to the area’s ever-evolving, massive open-art gallery. Over the years, Life Is Beautiful has brought a variety of unique large-scale public-art installations to the streets of downtown Las Vegas, many of which, like the Corporate Welfare by Shepard Fairey and Peacemaker by D*Face, have become iconic pieces of the city’s landscape.

For foodies, Life Is Beautiful celebrates the diversity of Las Vegas’ incomparable food and beverage scene offering a culinary lineup of chefs, mixologists, and restaurateurs from across the city including vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free choices.

Things to Know Before Attending Life is Beautiful

If you’re planning on attending Life Is Beautiful here are a few Vegas.com tips, and check out these FAQs for up-to-date information on the Life Is Beautiful app and transportation options.

Location: Life Is Beautiful is located in downtown Las Vegas and encompasses 18 city blocks extending from 7th to 11th Street and from Mesquite to Carson Avenue. The festival entrance is located at Fremont & 7th street. Parking is limited so check out the Park & Ride Shuttle for a guaranteed parking spot in a designated lot nearby and access to a round-trip shuttle to and from the festival throughout the weekend.

Allowed and Prohibited Items: Small bags are allowed, but expect them to be searched before you’re allowed in. Blankets, baby strollers, portable phone charges, soft-sided coolers no larger than a 12-pack of beer, empty Camelbak, binoculars, two unopened bottled water (up to one liter) and glow sticks are among the items allowed. Not allowed: illegal drugs, hula hoops, weapons, outside food and beverages, and pets.

Hours: Life Is Beautiful official hours are 3 p.m to 1 a.m so plan on dressing in layers. Average September Las Vegas temperatures can range from 96 during the day to 57 in the evenings.

Payment: Life Is Beautiful is a cashless event, however, all credit cards and debit cards will be accepted.
